pic.twitter.com/E5MmBPUe6H

It is said that no one is really gone till his stories are told, and retold by people who continue to live. Irrfan Khan gave us many unique stories to revisit and remember him by. Here’s a small attempt to remember him through his films and TV shows through which he lives on.
1. Banegi Apni Baat
Irrfan Khan started his career in early TV shows, one of which was Banegi Apni Baat on Zee TV. A lesser known fact about this show is that Irrfan not just acted but also directed a few episodes of this TV series, during which he demanded 11 re-writes from his wife and dialogue writer Sutapa Sikdar.

Deadline: Sirf 24 Ghante
Before Irrfan Khan played the role of a righteous criminal in Madaari, he played the role of a kidnapper in Deadline: Sirf 24 Ghante. This is another of his underrated films where he kidnaps the daughter of a doctor, not for the money, but to teach the doctor a lesson in ethics.
2. Right Yaaa Wrong
Irrfan Khan starred in the highly underrated movie Right Yaaa Wrong alongside Sunny Deol and Konkona Sen Sharma. This story revolves around the friendship between two cops Ajay and Vinay. Ajay is accused of killing his wife and Vinay is asked to handle to take over the case without letting the friendship influence his decisions. Irrfan portrays this moral dilemma perfectly in this film.
Irrfan Khan played a short but deeply impactful character of Roohdaar in Haider. His role will stay with you long after the movie, proved by the fact that we still remember it so vividly. Along with his role this movie in itself is a work of art.
Madaari from 2015 was another important role in Irrfan Khan’s long filmography. He portrayed the frustrations of a common man who lost his entire family because of corrupt and violent systems and sets out on a revenge path to change the system at whatever cost.
Qarib Qarib Singlle
Qarib Qarib Singlle is probably Irrfan Khan’s only all out Bollywood romantic comedy, but it is still a very offbeat story. In this film we see Irrfan, in a kind of role that was rarely offered to him in all his years in the Hindi Film industry, making this a must watch for any fans of his work.
