State of Siege: 26/11 is based on Sandeep Unnithan’s best-seller – Black Tornado: The Three Sieges of Mumbai 26/11. The web series stars Arjun Bijlani, Arjan Bajwa, Vivek Dahiya, Mukul Dev,  Sid Makkar, Tara Alisha Berry, Khalida Jaan, Jyoti Gauba, Roshni Sahota, Suzanne Bernert, Naren Kumar and Jason Shah. The gripping narrative will shed light on hitherto unknown facts about the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. It will release soon on ZEE5.

Jennifer Winget, Tanuj Virwani, Rajat Kapoor-starrer ZEE5 Original and ALTBalaji Original Code M is an action-packed drama, filled with a lot of twists and suspense. Jennifer plays an army lawyer Monica Mehra who is handed the case of a colonel who gets killed in a mission. Her sole purpose is to find out the truth and crack Code M.

Mission Over Mars (M-O-M) is an ZEE5 Original and ALTBalaji Original based on India’s remarkable mission to Mars. Starring Sakshi Tanwar, Mona Singh, Nidhi Singh, and Palomi Ghosh, the web series revolves around the female ISRO scientists who made India’s 2013 Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) aka Mangalyaan, a huge success!

4. Uri: The Surgical Strike

Uri: The Surgical Strike is a 2019 feature film starring Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Yami Gautam, and Mohit Raina. The movie revolves around the events of the surgical strike conducted by the Indian army on suspected Pakistani militants in retaliation to the 2016 Uri attack on an Indian army brigade headquarters in Jammu and Kashmir.

5. The Tashkent Files

The Tashkent Files is a conspiracy thriller film about the death of former Indian Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. Written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri, the movie stars Shweta Basu Prasad, Naseeruddin Shah and Mithun Chakraborty in lead roles.

6. Parmanu

Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran is based on the true story of India’s 1998 Pokhran nuclear test that led to India’s recognition as a full-fledged nuclear state. The 2018 drama film stars John Abraham, Diana Penty, Boman Irani, Anuja Sathe, Aditya Hitkari, Yogendra Tiku, and Zachary Coffin. The mission went down as one of America’s biggest intelligence failure which only makes it extra special if you ask us!

7. Paltan

Paltan is a 2018 action drama film starring Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Harshvardhan Rane and Gurmeet Choudhary. This war film, directed by J.P. Dutta, is based on the 1967 Nathu La and Cho La clashes between the Indian and Chinese military.

8. The Accidental Prime Minister

Independence Day is all about celebrating – pros and cons. Thus, The Accidental Prime Minister. The 2019 Hindi biographical drama movie starring Anupam Kher, Akshaye Khanna, Suzanne Bernert and Aahana Kumra. The movie explores Manmohan Singh’s tenure as the Prime Minister of India.

9. Roja

Mani Ratnam’s 1992 romantic thriller Roja stars Arvind Swamy and Madhoo in the lead roles. It is the first in Ratnam’s trilogy of films that depict human relationships against a background of Indian politics, including Bombay and Dil Se. Roja traces the trials of a couple who found themselves in the eye of the storm when the male lead Rishi is abducted by terrorists whose agenda is to separate Kashmir from India. 10. Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo

Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo revolves around Major Amarjeet Singh, played by Amitabh Bachchan and his family who dedicate their life for the Indian army. Major Amarjeet Singh’s son Vikramjeet (Akshay Kumar) joins the army but gets killed. Years later, when Vikramjeet’s son, Kunal (Bobby Deol), is expected to join the army, he prefers to settle abroad and make money. Will Kunal realize the pride and honour associated with serving the army?
